Danielle M. Ellis

Danielle M. Ellis represents employers in both federal and state court and in administrative proceedings. Ms. Ellis has defended wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, breach of contract, and other employment claims. In addition, she advises clients on a wide range of employment issues including the Family and Medical Leave and Family Rights Acts, Americans with Disabilities Act, and wage and hour matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ellis was an associate at Kauff, McClain & McGuire where she litigated various employment claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and wage-hour, and other employment actions. Her practice also concentrated on employment counseling and litigation where she counseled employers on preventative employment practices designed to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and how to provide the best defensive position in the event of litigation.

Ms. Ellis earned her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, she clerked for the United States Department of Labor where she assisted in the investigation of orphaned pensions plans and advised both companies and individuals of their rights and obligations under federal law. Ms. Ellis completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles where she received her Bachelor of Arts.

Ms. Ellis is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California.
