Hassan Elrakabawy

Hassan Elrakabawy is a litigation associate in the Firm’s Irvine office and is a member of the Financial Services practice group. Mr. Elrakabawy represents major financial institutions, including banks, mortgage lenders, consumer financial companies and auto finance companies, in all stages of litigation. Mr. Elrakabawy has experience handling complex litigation matters.

Prior to beginning law school, Mr. Elrakabawy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2005, Mr. Elrakabawy graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he won a regional championship in interscholastic mock trial and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Wallace B. Jefferson, Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Severson, Mr. Elrakabawy served as briefing attorney to the Honorable Terry Jennings, Justice on the First Court of Appeals for the State of Texas and litigated at a national law firm where his practice focused on securities, labor & employment and intellectual property litigation.
