California Appellate Division of Superior Court Clarifies Standards for Declarant under Business Records Exception to the Hearsay Rule in Debt Collection Prove-Up

In Unifund CCR LLC v Dear, the California Superior Court — Appellate Division clarified the standards that a debt collector declarant must meet to prove up a debt as a business record.
