When two or more cases are “consolidated” under FRCivP 42, they are not merged into a single conglomerate whole but retain their separate identities. Therefore, a judgment entered resolving all claims in one of the consolidated cases is immediately appealable and the appellant need not wait to appeal until all the rest of the consolidated cases are resolved.
