Megan is an Associate with Severson & Werson’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Group and the Firm’s Financial Services Group. She harnesses an efficient and effective practice method to offer a full service spectrum of support to clients.
Ms. Aldworth works in the Firm’s Orange County Office representing clients in state and federal court forums, as well as in arbitration. Ms. Aldworth zealously advocates for clients in creditors’ rights disputes, ranging from documentation of loan transactions, debt restructuring, and litigation to enforce creditors’ rights, as well as bankruptcy disputes.
She also litigates various matters pertaining to banking operations of large financial institutional clients, specifically involving business and consumer account fraud disputes. In particular, Ms. Aldworth advocates for clients in litigation relating to Uniform Commercial Code Divisions 3, 4 and 4A, along with Electronic Fund Transfer Act (Reg E), and federal and state consumer protection and privacy laws.
Ms. Aldworth holds a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, she externed for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in New York, NY, and Terlato Wines International in Lake Bluff, IL
