Ms. Surdis earned her B.A. from the George Washington University and her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly U.C. Hastings). While in law school, she was a member of the award-winning Alternative Dispute Resolution team. After graduating, Ms. Surdis clerked at the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the County in misdemeanor and felony cases. She also gained extensive litigation experience at two national law firms, handling a diverse caseload.
