Round One of Amendments to California’s Data Privacy Protection Act

On July 16, 2018, we reported on the new California Data Privacy Protection Act (the “CCPA”). As anticipated, the California Legislature amended the CCPA on September 23, 2018, when Governor Jerry Brown signed SB-1121 into law. Our discussion of SB-1121 is here.
